I Wrote it in a Song

Why do I resist You so?

You prove to be wise when it all unfolds.

I have a hard time I’ve been told; I’ve been told by You.

The truth is, I always have a hard time!

I’m changing my direction; I wrote it in a song

I’m looking for a new way, what took my heart so long?

It used to be an attraction, that “bad man” appeal.

All caught up in reaction of how I tend to feel.

The bottle was my friend, I’d been told, but since You I know that it ain’t true.

I’m changing my direction; I wrote it in a song

I’m looking for a new way, what took my heart so long?

It doesn’t really matter how I feel

because You always tell the truth, and the truth is real

there is one thing that I know, and that is sometimes I just don’t know

I’m changing my direction; I wrote it in a song

I’m looking for a new way, what took my heart so long? Oh, I’m changing!

I’m changing my direction; I wrote it in a song

I’m looking for a new way, what took my heart so long?

Oh, what took me so long? What took me so long?

Changing my direction.

Holy Roller

I’m just a holy roller, all my old friends they can’t see me.

They can understand enough and tell me not to be so tough.

“Relax, wind down, have a drink, hang around.

We’ll laugh and we’ll dance. The world is at your fingers!”

I’ve been around and never knew the awesome love that comes from You.

How can I explain to them where I am?

They’re lost, I’m found. My world is You; their world is round.

They’re caught and I’m free. Is it meant to be?

Help, help help me, Lord I need Your Word.

Help help help me, tell them what I heard.

Help, help, help me, show them who I am.

Help, help help me, make them understand!

I'm just a holy roller rolling, I'm just a holy roller rolling

I'm just a holy roller rolling, rolling down, not such a wide, wide road

Now that I am on the path,

I know I won’t receive Your wrath.

You don’t need perfection, there’s only One, there’s only One.

I’m here right now. Use me Lord, show me how.

I'm Yours I vow, I’m on my knees!

I Believe

I believe in a lot of things, a lot of things I believe in.

Like Christ once walked the earth and He will soon be back again.

And the longshore man can cry like a baby, and a mean politician can change his mind.

I believe in simple things, like what one kiss from you would bring

and walking in the great outdoors in the early spring

The healing sound of a young child laughing in the distance or watching a sick man get well through persistence

I believe, ya it's a simple, simple thing,

I believe in Him, I believe!

And I will follow, I believe in Him, I believe!

I believe in direction, direct direction from one’s heart

And whatever comes easy is God given and where we’re supposed to start

There’s nothing wrong with a dreamer, or thinking real good thoughts

I could follow my shadow, but I think not!

I believe, ya it's a simple, simple thing,

I believe in Him, I believe!

And I will follow, I believe in Him, I believe!

Come on, you gotta believe, come on, come on now. You gotta believe, believe, believe!

I believe that the unbeliever comes from a very scary place of darkness and of fear

Come on take my hand, I can feel you shaking

I’ll help you what I can, all about His love!

City Lights                            by Lisa Gallant Seal

City Lights are pretty, watching them through the window

I don't like the city much, except for the people who walk around the streets and stuff

they're the ones who teach me … as long as I want to hear.

Do you know your eyes are beautiful when I'm watching them through My eyes.

I can see anything that I want to see and when you close them and feel a tear behind them

I hope you know that you can come to Me.

Everything is easy, if that's the way you want it

and things can be really hard too. Whatever you are feeling, take it and you feel it

cause the feeling will be over real soon. Making room for more feelings.

Once I saw a mother somewhere caressing her sweet baby.

Something deep inside got touched, I knew it was something that I missed.

I yearned for soft arms around me, holding me caressing me

telling me whatever I do, it's gonna be alright

Once I saw the sun rise, I pretended I was an Indian, I took dirt and I smelled it

I was sitting on wet dew. I felt a power deep within me, one I wanted to capture

and I looked toward the sun and then I knew.

Everything is easy, if that's the way you want it

and things can be really hard too. Whatever you are feeling, take it and you feel it

cause the feeling will be over real soon. Making room for more feelings.

once I saw the sunrise, I pretended I was an Indian  ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh

THE WINDOW          by Lisa Gallant Seal

I saw you standing in the window, did you know that I was there?

I was watching how your hair goes, trying not to stare.

This world it is so crazy, I’m scared of my own shadow sometimes

Do you think that you could maybe be a friend of mine, could you be a friend?

It gets a little lonely out there on my own, I lost a man about a year ago

He got drunk and he got crazy and hit me down, and a wind took him, a strong wind took him

So I’m standing in the window, I've got my clothes down to my knees

And I was looking for you to see me,

but you were nowhere to be seen, you were nowhere

So where do you go when I find that you’re not at home?

Is there someone in your life or are you alone?

And would you answer my questions if you could hear me,

and could you hear me, or would a strong wind take you?

I see you standing in the window, you have a smile upon your face

I quickly crouch down and peek out from beneath the sill,

I was looking for a woman and you were standing still.

You were looking out my way and saw me crouched beneath the sill

Heavens Way

Stars can’t refuse to shine, the ocean moves in perfect time

Babies cry just to get their way;

new love dies but true love stays

Heaven’s gonna have its way

A trusting heart, suspicious mind, makes up part of the humankind

Just look in the mirror at your own design, there aint’ no denying

Heaven’s gonna have its way    Heaven’s gonna have its way  … the war is over

Heaven’s gonna have its way, yeah, Heaven’s gonna have its way

Well what about all the hate in the world, the war the sickness and the famine?

You say why do bad things happen to little girls and little boys?

Well, let’s examine.

There once was an angel who had it all and in his pride, he did wallow

Out of the Heavens he began to fall with a legion of angels, they followed

But God says my people ain’t no puppets on a string, they’ll love me with all their hearts, and they’ll sing

Heaven’s gonna have its way    Heaven’s gonna have its way, Jesus has won it!

Heaven’s gonna have its way, yeah, Heaven’s gonna have its way

Honey, don’t you worry if you don’t get what I’m saying,

get down on your knees and start speaking and praying

Ask Him to show you His love for you now, repent of your sins, say it out loud

Who’s gonna hear you except the One Who's beside you,

there is nothing to fear with His Spirit to guide you!

Heaven’s gonna have its way    Heaven’s gonna have its way, Jesus has won it!

Heaven’s gonna have its way, yeah, Heaven’s gonna have its way

Have its way … have its way

Flower   by Lisa Gallant Seal

I’m a flower Lord, sprouting from the ground.

I’m a flower Lord and I'm sprouting.

I don’t have my stem

and I don’t have my peddles

But I know I will.

Jesus, I love you like no other, Jesus You’re my Father, You’re my cover.

I’m nothin’ but a little tumbleweed blowing across the desert.

I need You Lord, pick me up, pick me up

I’m a blade of grass blowing in the wind, I’m a blade of grass, I’m blowing

I stand here brothers I know we're coming home, I know we will.

Jesus, I love you like no other, Jesus You’re my Father, You’re my cover.

I’m nothin’ but a little tumbleweed blowing across the desert.

I need You Lord, pick me up, pick me up

I’m a firefly Lord, shining in the darkness. I’m a firefly Lord and I’m shining

Let me not be afraid to shine my light to others and to let Your wind

lift my wings and take me home!

Jesus, I love you like no other, Jesus You’re my Father, You’re my cover.

I’m nothin’ but a little tumbleweed blowing across the desert.

I need You Lord, pick me up, pick me up

Cotton Candy Wind by Lisa Gallant Seal

I feel that cotton candy wind up against my face again

Is it just another color stroke across my pages?

I sit in expectation, like any child, full and wild

I'm waiting for more fruit to fall, sweet, sweet fragrance.

I am Your daughter!

I am a princess riding, my eyes are on You

And they are bound to water, when I think of the things I cannot see

My life is not in order, I give it all to You my King

I'm restless and I'm wanting, I give it all to You my King

I wanna see the things I cannot see

I want to feel my angel surrounding me, glory to glory

Lift me higher!

My leg is pressed up against the saddle. My horse is strong, and he has no fear

I'm Your warrior in battle, but teach me how to meet you here

I'm restless and I'm wanting, teach me how to meet You here

I wanna see the things I cannot see

I want to feel Your angel surrounding me, glory to glory

Lift me higher!

I feel that cotton candy wind, it's up against my face again

is it just another color stroke across my pages, across my pages

across my pages

Who’s Gonna Know?

American people open up your eyes. What’s going on? Ain’t no big surprise

Frogs in a saucepan boilin’ down, losing control, mind games a bound

Rothchild, Rockefeller, George Soro’s and Billy too, American people they’re comin after you!

Hiding in plain sight, what they’re doing just ain’t right … but who’s gonna know?

Our children are learning what we don’t want them to hear

It’s all so concerning, but our dismissal is clear

Social agenda takes precedence now, let perverse Mr. Kinsey tell us all how

Pedestal politicians, yes we put them there … now we’re in a position … tell me when will we care?

Hiding in plain sight, what we're just ain’t right … but who’s gonna know?

Don’t tell me what to say or do! Snopes knows all, get the facts jack

Don’t you judge me and I won’t judge you

Dump trump … thump CNN?

Biden’s zen, let the murder’s in, let the corruption win?

Conspiracy theory just got real, Governors reaching, our freedoms to steal

Let’s come together, come together right now, let's pick up the pieces and speak the truth out loud

Justice for all is a good man’s Q, put your cell phones down and tell facebook you're through

Hiding in plain sight, what they're doin' just ain't right but who’s gonna know?
