I’m just a holy roller, all my old friends they can’t see me.

They can understand enough and tell me not to be so tough.

“Relax, wind down, have a drink, hang around.

I’ve been around and never knew the awesome love that comes from You.

How can I explain to them where I am?

They’re lost, I’m found. My world is You; their world is round.

My love for You grows stronger, stronger every day.

I find that it's all true, everything that You say. 

To think that all I have to do is kneel down and ask You.

I'm changing my direction; I walk toward the Way.

Looking back, I sit on hindsight, every inch of me is Yours.

I find myself rejecting things that I think I want more of. 

Sin is sin how deep I'm in, I'm begging for You Lord, 

take me, change me, squeeze me through that skinny door!

Am I listening? Do I have capacity? I want maturity, who could love the likes of me?

I'm glistening, because I know I'm a fish out of water, His young bird falling from a tree.

Why is it that I do the things that I don't want to do? I suffer so because I want to be obedient, it's true.

Just when I think I walk the line, the line turns into two, I'm a sinner, I have a double mind, 

but His love continues to …

take my heart from stone to clay, He gives me hope, He leads the way, humbles me like no one can, and I'm back into His arms.

Like Christ once walked the earth and He will soon be back again.

City Lights are pretty, watching them through the window

I don't like the city much, except for the people who walk around the streets and stuff

they're the ones who teach me … as long as I want to hear.

Do you know your eyes are beautiful when I'm watching them through My eyes.

I can see anything that I want to see and when you close them and feel a tear behind them

I hope you know that you can come to Me.

Everything is easy, if that's the way you want it

and things can be really hard too. Whatever you are feeling, take it and you feel it

cause the feeling will be over real soon. Making room for more feelings. 

Once I saw a mother somewhere caressing her sweet baby.

Something deep inside got touched, I knew it was something that I missed.

I yearned for soft arms around me, holding me caressing me

telling me whatever I do, it's gonna be alright

Once I saw the sun rise, I pretended I was an Indian, I took dirt and I smelled it

I was sitting on wet dew. I felt a power deep within me, one I wanted to capture

and I looked toward the sun and then I knew.

Everything is easy, if that's the way you want it

and things can be really hard too. Whatever you are feeling, take it and you feel it
